Adding the loads

Java Applet Have a go image Add 2 kg masses, one-by-one, and measure the extension, l, at each stage using the zoomed vernier scale.

• Record these values in your data sheet or lab book.

• Unload the wire to zero load and check the extension.

You will use them on the next page to plot a graph.
